Women’s Health Clinic celebrates …..

We’ve Stepped out again at our annual Fun(d) Raising Dinner, held this year at the Fort Garry Hotel on Thursday March 6, 2008.

The event, held in the Crystal Ballroom at the Fort Garry Hotel, included live entertainment from the Martha Brooks Trio featuring award-winning jazz singer and lyricist Martha Brooks.

For more than a quarter of a century, the Women’s Health Clinic has helped women from across the province deal with health challenges of all kinds – physical, mental and emotional. The clinic is currently expanding its Mother’s Program and Reproductive Health Medical Program, as well as developing services for women with chronic pelvic pain.

Every year, we log more than 12,000 visits by women to our clinic. Proceeds from our Stepping Out dinner go to the Women’s Health Clinic Fund, which supports community education and outreach.  The Women’s Health Clinic Fund is managed by The Winnipeg Foundation.

The event was extremely well attended by our many partners and supporters. We are pleased to report that our dinner raised over $10,000.00.

Women’s Health Clinic would like to take this opportunity to thank those who played a large part in our Success!
