Dr. Sabrina Lee (she/they)

Dr. Sabrina Lee is an Obstetrics and Gynecology resident physician in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Manitoba. She obtained an Honours Bachelor in Health Sciences (2013) and a Doctorate in Medicine (2017) from the University of Ottawa. She holds an MSc Reproductive and Sexual Health Research (2020) from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and an MSc Health Services Research (2022) from the University of Toronto. Both graduate degrees focused on investigating policies surrounding access to contraceptive care.

After her residency, she aspires to build a clinical practice safely serving marginalized populations. They aim to develop a career focused on reproductive and sexual health with an emphasis on family planning research, health policy and anti-oppressive frameworks. She hopes to bring her passion for reproductive choice and her lived experience as a multiracial Francophone Black woman to the Women’s Health Clinic Board of Directors as of September 2023 for a two-year term. When they are not busy with work, Sabrina enjoys playing volleyball, attending movie theatres, and taking care of her houseplants and little cat Wilfred.
